(Contains INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US Vol. 1: # 1-6)
Injustice starts with some surprising and touching scenes. We discover a Superman samuse to listen to the heart of his beloved Lois, but also her unborn child. He then made a joy to ask Batman BE Godfather while the latter had to guess everything in a scene that shows how our heroes are close.
Against all odds, the Joker decides not to take sen in Batman, but Superman, for a change, variety. And it will hit hard, very hard. Not sure that he had planned everything that will result from his actions. All this will start with the death of Lois Lane and therefore the future child of Superman. Consequently, Superman will completely change so dopérer with criminals, killing becomes an option that he allows himself to use!
It will not be that super-criminals will be targeted, simple as petty criminals, and soon countries at war. All must bow to its prerogatives or pay the price, there is no longer any concessions! At his side, he can count on the unwavering support of Wonder Woman, which appears to take his foot to see lHomme Ironside behave well. They are gods among us and must Dagir as such. And it is obvious that the beautiful Amazon handles Superman to do that he does not back down.
Others follow the hero in his vengeful crusade that turns gradually into totalitarianism. Green Lantern, Shazam, Cyborg. It is quite surprising to see jusquoù they are able to go to their new vision of justice, simply ask Aquaman what he thinks.
But fortunately, not all are daccords with Superman's actions. And this is of course that we find in Batman leader of the resistance. He can not condone what he goes up and soon the tone and the first shots are quick to rain. If Superman suffers huge losses, this is also the case of Batman, who will live a new drama, confirming to accept to start a band with other heroes to sopposer Superman and his. But to see what it will happen, it will, unfortunately, expect the second volume.
If history is absolutely enjoyable to follow, however, there was an ugly black spot in this first volume, with the drawings! It is baited with raw lovely pages before being embedded in a graphic Space Mountain. The level does not cease dalterner between the good, the bad, very bad. A multitude of artists with different styles to each chapter. This really is very troublesome to follow such a mess On the whole graph.
By reading this first volume dInjustice, I can not help but think, to much lesser extent, to Kingdom Come. This is not as rich, not as deep or mature, but through acts of Superman, these are the same questions that come. On being able to get away with anything when you have the powers of a god, in mourning or not, that justifies nothing. And it is therefore natural, in front of such acts, each reader will have fun taking part in lun or the other based not on affinities but more than what he is capable daccepter or not. For Tom Taylor shows us that if these characters are so close like lon gods living among us they become humans and thus prey to listen to their feelings. What is really dangerous, lorsquon sappelle Superman, Wonder Woman or nimporte any other hero.
This is a huge plus point to echo one of the largest works of DC. But it stops there. For if Kingdom Come was playing a lot of imagination, on reflection. Injustice is in the visual. This is very violent, if not gory at times.
Another big plus point of this story, this is the work of characterization of the characters of Tom Taylor. A fragile Batman, a ruthless Superman, Wonder Woman a manipulative, Harley Quinn teased and sensitive, Flash undecided, a follower Hal Jordan ... And it is so well written quon believes, it seems to us almost plausible, normal. We are surprised to find that it could match, see not be surprised to see them do so.
In short, Injustice is a real little fun reading! Many Drafting, which leads to beautiful questions on the role of superhero, on what they are entitled or not to do, in that they have the power or not, with humor a zest, emotion, beautiful emotions in shocking scenes, fantastic characters, all in a world where everyone has to choose sides. Shame this melting pot graphic, and having to wait two months to see more!
