After a long search, I finally found the right hardware for my HTPC. Small and quiet, low power consumption and with all the connections that you need, as I previously an Intel NUC PC had the much less connections had (have the NUC sold again), I came across the Zotac box that meets all my requirements! Installation of a HDD / SSD in 2.5 shaft and matching memory (up to 8GB) in an appropriate capacity can be easily performed .. so be careful when screwing the base plate to install RAM and HDD, here breaking the small plastic tabs that are very thin quickly .. Super is the integrated infrared sensor with remote control. Impeccable !. The presence of the optical connector was not mandatory, but ok for me! I run the Zotac in continuous operation now 24 hours a day for 4 weeks under Windows7 with. So far, no problems. The hardware masters all my needs without any problems, retaining heat during operation hardly is very quiet and can be used as a normal office PC. As office PC might install the Zotac also with the enclosed mounting plate behind suitable monitors. I am already considering violently on if I do not my old PC is far superior by a second buy with I5 or I3 because the Zotac box is underestimated and wrongly in the price / performance ratio, the Zotac box of Intel Nuc and Gigabyte Brix.
