Negatives:
- Fan is clearly audible (despite BIOS update)
- Is quite warm (idle power about 30 watts, which must be?)
- Cheap housing
- Wheezing PSU in standby
- Windows 7 64-bit running quite slow. With the Windows Media Center, the device is almost overwhelmed.
Positives:
- Windows 7 64-bit complete hardware is detected and the driver of the Zotac website were not necessary.
My equipment:
Zotac ZBOX HD-ID11
2 GB RAM
500GB hard drive
Windows 7 64-bit
Conclusion: I would not buy the device, because my expectations were not met as a HTPC. My laptop with an Intel P8700 processor and an Intel 4500MHD is there much faster, almost silently and energy saving (about 15 watts at idle). But for my laptop was almost twice as expensive.
