We had completed the extended warranty for an Epson printer 215 XP. This had various defects in succession - therefore we sent this after three months back for credit. Since the insurance thus did not come into play, we wanted to return the insurance amount. Amazon has not taken the rescission of the insurance amount - we were expelled from Amazon at a service telephone directly to ERGO. After a 30 minute telephone conversation with endless ERGO and three more connections we received the verbal promise to be reimbursed the amount on Amazon.
This would, indeed Amazon gets a commission on paid claims amount, also can do Amazon.
Bureaucratic it is in my view not exceeding, customer-friendly, this is not intended.
