The cooler does a finely crafted impression, despite the relatively low weight. The door stop can switch from right to left. On an interior lighting was unfortunately omitted, perhaps one can not expect in this price range also. After I cleaned the machine and a good 5 hours had passed, came the exciting moment of the initial power - and thus, unfortunately, a small disappointment. The compressor hums quite loudly. Reviews that explain the unit for bedroom suitable, I can not confirm. Even with earplugs the hum still of 3 meters can be heard. Disturbing is also a loud clicking sound when switching on and off of the compressor, which depending on usage and ambient temperature before every 5-10 minutes is the case. Noise Sensitive people are likely to feel this as extremely annoying.
For cooling performance: After 3 hours at the highest level with the drinks which I had placed in the cooler were already cold enough and I have asked the cooling capacity to the temperature control to the lowest level. The noisy compressor jumps then only occasionally for a few minutes so that the cooler on quietly doing its job most of the time. Positively surprised me that even on the lowest level (1 of 7) of the temperature controller already a refrigeration temperature of 8 degrees is achieved which is sufficient for drinks.
What fits in? The door of the mini fridge is designed according to instruction for bottles. However, only one bottle to 1.5 L fits in, next to it is a maximum space for beverage cans. Even a normal 0.5L beer bottle is too big for the door pocket. Therefore you have to stack a beverage supply halt in the interior, which is not problematic, however, because the device easy enough on the depth ago to store large (1.5 L) plastic bottles lying.
Conclusion: The Bomann KB (Little Brummer) 289-cooler scores with excellent cooling performance and sound processing. Because of the noisy humming compressor and the loud one-turn-clack desselbigen it is my opinion, however recommended limited.
