Instrumental DT are of course absolutely Oberliga, no doubt, but on this album I consider the presence of James LaBrie than ... at times annoying. The man has a clean voice harsher, rougher passages to buy him but definitely not from. It is my view, a major shortcoming LaBries that it seems increasingly to have a tendency to have to imitate other singers in her vocal color. And that, as he is known to have not just gotten the most masculine of his voice, sometimes seems a bit ... well ... ridiculous.
What on this disc is almost tiring but that Petrucci and Rudess constantly bunch together themes and phrases of all previous discs to new pieces, without really giving the feeling to do with heart and soul and by applying all their expertise understanding something new. Well, at least it is surprising because it sometimes when a oftgehörtes topic DT XY is completely different times continued ...)
Unfortunately, I was so wet on the new DT that I got myself these Special Ed. Vastly overpriced, unless you have a good 5.1 audio gain on the DVD player to be able to hear the surround version of the plate. Whatever the reason: D
Well, Nevertheless I will get me all coming DTs, because I somehow handle because under inner compulsion ... * eye twitch *
