The absolute highlight is the mode for me TAV. It is the combination of TV (time delay) and AV (aperture priority). In this mode, you select the aperture and time, the ISO setting is automatically adapted to the requirements. Especially for sports photography, I find the perfect mode.
In addition, the camera for 5 usermodes where individual settings can be saved.
The advantages for me:
-100% Viewfinder
-Direktwahl For exposure mode
-Direktwahl For focus point selection
-Direktwahl For focusing method
-Staub / Moisture resistant seals
-quality processing
-Batteriegriff Optional
-leiser mirrors Impact
-Wasserwaage Viewfinder faded
-9 Cross-type sensors
-Rauscharm
-Good lens market, also to old prime lenses
-1 Inspection under warranty for free
-Quick (Image sequence and AF)
-Stabi In housing
-K Bayonet unchanged since 1975 - a lot of old and good lenses available
-Good price performance
-7 B / sec.
"Disadvantages"
-Built AF motor quite noisy. However, this engine has more power than the engines that are built into the lens. A Tamron 70-200 f2.8 is really a lame duck, to a Pentax but made him tidy legs!
Videos can the K-5 also receive, but I can say nothing, I do not care! Prefer movies to buy a camcorder
In the meantime I have already built a stately objective Park. Ua I use as "Always top" a Sigma 17-70 f2,8-4,0. My message is a Sigma 70-200 f2.8. I also have some macros and fixed focal lengths. The camera makes it really fun to work. This flagship Pentax is a very big hit!
I hope my review will help you enjoy it and little further.
