Ordered yesterday afternoon, I received this 5.1 kit today early afternoon.
So far I had only had conventional computer speakers, ie the usual pair that is placed close to the screen.
And then came the X-530 from Logitech kit, which was recommended for several months in a PC magazine (Canard PC). So I made the move not only seeing the low price, but also the fact that the delivery would take place the next day when I commanded in the next hour.
Unpacking the "beast", there is a big box, 4 small speakers that can be wall-mounted or through a swivel foot, laid flat; and a horizontal enclosure with variable inclination.
For connection, no worry since even without the leaflet in French (or Suomi huh), one quickly understands that, as in the 7th Company, red plug goes to the white socket, uh ... red! etc.
I then tested with a Blu-ray - "The Return of the King", with the load of the knights of Rohan.
Breathtaking !! I spend a 2D I have always known, the spatial sound, with the whistling of arrows just to my right, the rattle of horses on my left and goblins in the face. I digress.
Brief huge, I can replay my blu-raythèque with a completely new sound!
