I have to say I really like this device. It looks solid processed, has really all remote shutter functions that you need and fits comfortably in your hand.
The cable length could be a bit longer, but often enough problems.
Batteries last for a long time now.
I now come to the big minus.
The cable of the trigger has a 3 pin jack with the following assignment: triggering, focusing, mass.
After only about a dozen inserts the remote switch the camera (Canon EOS 500D) had not triggered, but, strangely, focuses.
A little investigation on the Internet has shown that I am one of many with this problem.
The cause of the problem is a cable break of the release pins because the cable is under high voltage inside the unit and so can go off on jack after a short time.
The lines can be tested for resistance using a measuring device so easily, which should go to 0 in functioning cables.
Unfortunately does not help other than the cable to switch, Simply use a 3 pin 2.5mm cable clinic and get basic Solder (quite easily).
Behold, the good thing triggers again. Throw away is not an option.
