I bought this as a tripod travel tripod / tripod Second, because it is very compact, fits in the trunk and many actions. Furthermore me the good evaluation has led to the purchase. Originally I would have awarded five stars. Meanwhile, I had the tripod on a journey in continuous use / endurance test and the first good impression has been put into perspective a little. That struck me negatively: 1. After a short use is made of the locking screw for the camera recording the round bubble / water balance fell out. Here too little adhesive was obviously used. Although this damage can be resolved without outside intervention, but with a proper manufacturing and quality control should not be. 2. The individual legs clamps pulling out again from time to time, despite complete loosening the screw caps. A quick setting up liquid is thus not always assured. The mechanism is in need of improvement and not comparable to professional tripods. 3. The tripod head is connected to the central column by rotational friction. If you forget to release the Panoramaklemmung, this dissolves very quickly. This is annoying and wastes time. 4. The clamping for the angular adjustment of the legs is realized via a screw with locknut. From one leg has eased this repeatedly. The fact that this can only be a compromise, also shows the supplied spanner, with which the clamping force set / can be corrected. The clamping for the angular adjustment of the legs should be implemented mechanically different. This should be as smooth running as the panorama function. 5. When assembling the leg elements, there is no vent hole, sometimes the legs snapping back slightly. A little thing that again takes time if you want to pack up quickly. 6. When overstretching the leg for the pack size is clamped to also like the fingers, because the effort is either very low or too high (despite setting the clamping).
These are all rather small things.
Another positive aspect is: 1. The pack size is really small. 2. The stand includes a monopod, making it truly versatile. 3. The working height is pleasantly high despite small pack size. Very good mechanical and well thought out, the second stabilizing clamping of the center column. Bravo !! 4. The spherical head wears a DSLR with battery grip and 70-200mm lens. This is not self-evident in the price range or the size of your tripod. 5. The stand can be weighed by means of hooks and weighing. 6. Scaling makes panoramic or multiple shots easily possible. 7. The tripod is easy and allows therefore longer mountain hikes. 8. The head allows very smoothe panoramic rotations.
All in all, I find the price for the offered scope of services continues to be very good. The Tripod is lightweight yet strong and versatile. However, the (rather small) little problems are time-consuming and sometimes annoying. If the manufacturer at the one point or another would consider an improved mechanism, that would be the ideal travel tripod. So I must however deduct a star.
