"Looking For Alaska" is told from the perspective of Miles Halter. The story is divided into two parts, which are called "before" and "after". The book constitutes short chapters that have exactly the right length.
The part of "before" includes a countdown to the beginning of each chapter, the "after" prepared the reader directly to the second part, which could not be more confusing and emotional.
The protagonists have all really liked me and I was able to quickly close in my heart.
Miles was an outsider at his old school and is glad to have found in the boarding fast connection. He is intelligent, sarcastic and always there for his friends.
Even chip is despite some popularity an outsider because he can visit the boarding school only through a full scholarship because his mother has no money and his father left the family a long time ago. He also convinces with intelligence and sarcasm.
However, my favorite in this book is Alaska Young, I immediately in my heart. She's witty, sarcastic and intelligent. She has a fondness for books, wine and cigarettes. Since it is often extremely moody, you will quickly find a reader that something is wrong with her. They often act mysterious and unpredictable.
John Green wrote with "Looking For Alaska" a wonderful boarding story that stands out above all through melancholy and sarcasm. Not only are young people in this book have their delight.
