Amazon has this listed as a pop song. If you know American music, then you'll know it's more of a crossover country hit. So you do not have to love country to enjoy this song. It's sweet and sad, the melody is beautiful and the singing is so emotional. We had to have it and bought the song The First Day It was available and have not regretted it!
