Unfortunately, VC is not everything. I was interested that I can shoot sharp images with 1 / 2.8. The objective was "made in Japan", which I was absolutely excited, and that's why I tested the object open aperture (freehand, tripod, etc. The results were quite good, but there were variations, you and me but ultimately so very disturbed that I ordered to the Nikon-original and could make a comparison. Result was nevertheless that the Nikon from open aperture shot noticeably sharper images, which was the basic criterion for me.
So I am sending back the Tamron and keep the Nikon.
Only times for clarity:
VC ++ unique, significantly better than the Nikon VR2
+ Autofocus is very fast, not much faster Nikon
+ Bokeh is beautiful, must not hide
+ Processing is of high quality and looks amazing
+ Removable tripod collar - I do not like better than Nikon because completely removable
o Focus from open aperture for me unfortunately too soft
Conclusion:
Who wants to spend about 900 less, which is well served with Tamron, it struck me no major defects. "Killer" criterion was with me holding the open aperture.
Otherwise, the Tamron is a lot of fun and a little dimmed, it ensures class sharpness.
Buy recommendation clearly!
