I quickly hung in no ordinary story of Lara Jean. These are love letters that put a bit in trouble and pushes to face love. At sixteen, she fell in love five times. She has written five letters, which she carefully stored in a hatbox. In these letters, she said goodbye to the boy she secretly loves, helping to turn the page definitively. For example, she fell in love with Josh, their adorable neighbor. Josh, the faithful friend. Josh ... the boyfriend of his big sister Margot. So when his letters are found among recipients, there is panic. To cope, Lara Jean makes decisions that are not always good but amuses us both. Lined with little lies here and there, afterwards, she does not know how to get out of this situation. I was really curious to see how each would react boy discovering his love letter. What would be the consequences on its current relationships with them? I shall say no more romance side, I leave you the surprise.
And to my delight, it is not just a love story. It is also a novel which tackles the subject of the family. Lara jean has two sisters. Margot the eldest, and the adorable and amazing Kitty, the smallest. They are three sisters surprisingly accomplices. Probably because they have lost their mother.
In this single parent is Margot who looks after them while their father works at the hospital. I was very touched by this unique link between the three sisters, so this relationship symbiotic. Lara Jean has a certain respect for her big sister. She admires Margot, who was always perfectly good care of his two sisters. It manages everything. The perfect sister. After he left for Scotland for his studies is to Lara Jean take over the role of big sister, pillar of the family. And that makes him a little afraid to take on this new responsibility. She is afraid of not being up to par. Finally, this new situation allowed him to learn and grow. I really like the evolution of that character so endearing, that of teenage fears quite realistic and whose daily lives are turned upside down so fast.
As you can probably understand, the character of Lara Jean I liked and I think it will be very easy for young readers to identify with her. It is difficult for her to take the risk of going out with someone. She very much doubt and wants to avoid disappointments. We are extremely touched by his reactions. You want it assumes what she feels, she confronts her feelings and share with the boy in question. So, I liked the end, though for now we are sure of nothing. Strongly on! I feel that this end ad a real turning point for Lara Jean. Would it be a true love story that looms on the horizon? After playback, the player retains especially this little message: even if we are unsure of our feelings, we must go!
A very pleasant reading and so heartwarming romance!
