To Classify: My weight 68kg, size 175, age 62, severely disabled for five years, professional Taekwondo instructor.
My illness experiences I have so far made with the red therapy gyros which are found in the rehab centers.
These gyros are pretty easy and safe to use.
However, I come from the top of the balance assets.
So in my eyes, the red balance board are perfect for beginners or those with longer disease-related sports such as breaks.
I have the Casall Balance Board appointed me because here in the reviews, a higher level of difficulty is described as the balance board.
That's why I ordered it .....
The higher degree of difficulty, I can now confirm.
Athletic beginners or people with serious handicap I would not recommend this unit to start.
Casall is actually one or two levels higher in difficulty.
Predictive caution :-)
Without the neoprene mat, dimensions 180mm x 4mm x 180mmm, led a one-legged stand trial on a hard surface with minimal weight shift to pull the other leg to the chest, a bullet-like sliding across the room board.
The same also with easy exercises with stand on both legs
No warning.
As a gun with trigger without pressure point.
Thanks for the warnings of the reviewers before me!
So never, no matter what surface, without using the supplied mat and indicate any roommate or potential users out there great risk of injury.
A sufficient free space around the Casall is also recommended, if you add it slips or falls.
Knee exercises without additional supports between Board and knees (if you are fond of your kneecaps) never
Never at pushups include the edge, made possible by the flanging of crushing, heavy finger and joint injuries.
Moreover, the device for proper pushups due to the small width is hardly suitable.
Even my board now and then crack.
When completely slanted board:
- Slip socks or running socks mercilessly.
- Stable with running shoes (rough profile soles) or Taekwondo shoes (fine grooves soles).
- Sufficient stability barefoot with dry feet.
The knobs of the board surface massage the soles of the feet and if it becomes too slippery, you can claw toes, an additional training effect.
Why only 3 stars?
The two enclosed instructions with stick figures, one in English and a Scandinavian in several languages are more than modest. An indication of the safety mat I have not found. The recommended training Duration 25 minutes two to three times a week is on the outside of the carton.
AND,
without the neoprene panel, the device is very dangerous due to design and material selection.
Once, for example, forget illness ....................
Once again, thanks to the Vorrezensenten.
