The most disadvantageous thing I can say is that the plastic parts (esp. The body) do not convey exactly the same solidity as the stainless steel case and that the cutting tools initially somewhat hakelig ran into the guide rail. The latter was easily overcome with some graphite (purists would rework with sandpaper).
The following possible (but preventable) causes of errors are noticed:
1. Ragged cut:
The two cutting tools have different blades; therefore it is important to insert the aluminum foil in the bottom and the plastic sheet in the upper tray exactly as directed.
2. slipping the film ends in the housing interior:
This is avoided by you insert the rolls so that the film end comes to lie under the roll (ie the other way around, as the roll of paper is inserted in the sample photo and as described in the manual).
3. drop the stainless steel housing:
The housing is fixed by two black plastic temples on the sides, which are spring-mounted and press from the inside in a hole in the housing. If the housing is not sufficiently fixed, so the stamp project probably not far or not strong enough externally. This may be caused irregularities in the mounting surface or too weak a suspension. Depending on the cause, either the mounting surface to be backed at a suitable location with cardboard strips and leveled by or you can see the plastic base with a flexible material (eg foam) under feed. Although this should not really be necessary for a brand product, as it leads in any case to a satisfactory result.
4. Complicated loading transparencies:
Not really: film roll in the correct direction (see 2) in the correct tray (see 1.) insert, leaving the ribbon end hanging out a few cm, put on housing, cut sheet, if the truncated portion clamps in the housing and pull out this, done.
Perhaps so one or the other Disappointed is still happy with his unit.

Updated on 11.20.2014:
After nearly 5 years of daily use, the holding arms for the kitchen paper roll dawned were (I was tearing the not always squeamish). Although they were still fit for use, but by me so estimated pinching the role was no longer possible.
Only to visit the support site of Leifheit [...] and 4 days later, I received by mail delivered a set of spare arms free and unbureaucratic. A buy / warranty certificate was not claimed. This model concept of customer service has me anyway compensated for the quality not quite optimal design and very impressed.
All other components (cutter included) function as well as on the first day. I would buy the product at any time and recommend it.
