This hand blender is quiet at full power and even quieter at low speed. My old hand blender was so loud that I am using it nor late at night so as not to disturb the neighbors, but the MQ 700 that is no longer a problem. Another positive aspect is the cup with embossed numbers, so they can not fade. As negative I see on the flat blade, this lacks the vertical blades to shred to Coarse. The safety button is a matter of taste. It bothers me that I have to press when mixing two buttons, even if it's not complicated. In young children in the house, this double fuse is probably helpful.
