The Incident (MP3 Download)

Customer Review

Coincidentally, I'm in the last few days once again encountered this (for now) last studio album of Porcupine Tree. And what a pleasant surprise, I had the good work a lot less exciting in memory. Maybe I see only a slight distance, the class of "The Incident" better and clearer. Compared to its direct predecessor "Fear of a blank planet" is "The Incident" less striking, provides the better production and sounds even more homogeneous. Of course, it is advantageous that the individual pieces into each flow, which enhances the impression of a single plant. And yet I find apart from songs like "Blind House", "Drawing the Line", "I Drive The Hearse" and "Remember me Lover" even better as the highlights of the previous board. In addition, I like the dark and occult touch that mainly Steven Wilson gave this album. He also has a little later summoned to "Grace for Drowning" The same morbid-melancholy mood. If this is in fact at some point have to apply as a last album of PT, would "The Incident" is a worthy conclusion for this band.
