Have him buy because it was the cheapest. I have not looked back. He fits right on lenses with a filter diameter of 58mm and is made of sturdy aluminum. I could not detect any real flaws or aberrations in the post and these will buy again.

Edit: It's still to say that one should possibly buy a more powerful if you plan to take pictures with a lot of light with it. Because with an aperture 22 to 18mm (ISO 100), I can do it just as to expose about 20 seconds. More is not splashing around. This is in direct sunlight a downfall. In bad weather, however, can be so great photograph or at dusk.
