The author obviously did not realize, but every page of his book is striking proof that one can live without money ... as long as the world continues to use it to power a partnership Consumer capable of producing full garbage (which you can use), TV shows silly (that invite you) and more generally a right-thinking middle class always ready to you "help" (in clear: you do the alms) to feel good.
In short: live like a happy tramp in England in 2014, it is possible (at least if you are young and healthy); in the utopian society that the author seems to call his wishes, and everyone should really work to eat, I doubt it.
