If you do not want to take your head with batteries for LeapPad 2, this kit is imperative.

Note that between the price of the tablet and of the pack, you have the price of a LeapPad that incorporates a 3x original battery, plus a WiFi card, which eliminates the need for connection to PC, and more provide access to preset channels on youtube which include moult cartoons for children. (No, we can not access youtube ALL) ..

So do take a LeapPad 2 + a battery kit if you have a nice promo, otherwise leave on the LeapPad 3x.
Note: apps LeapPad LeapPad 3x 2 are compatible if you are considering a replacement.
