The Samsung I have not bought about a week ago here on Amazon, but the Saturn because this was on offer there (1000).
I still wanted to give my feedback to the television, to help one or the other in their purchasing decision, as I myself have long and much compared :)
My criteria were:
* Many connection possibilities
* Of course, a good image: D
* Additional functions such as Smart TV / 3D TV should also have.
The 3D technology at first did not matter for me.
TV is mostly about Sky looked at (football) and as is gambled on the TV much (PS3).
For image:
After I have all the "image enhancer" is off and fiddled some regulators, I am very satisfied with the picture.
It HD channels and movies are primarily looked at, because the image is simply perfect. Even with football broadcasts no streaks, or unnatural effects. Blurays and 3D Blurays be very sharp and of course represented. No artificial exaggerated colors and the contrast is also in my opinion very good. Were tested Avatar, Final Destination (both great 3D effects) and Gangster Squad.
In SD images of TV therefore conjures no HD picture, but at 55 ", the screen looks still clean and sometimes sharp.
Sound:
The sound was not so important, because films are watched over HIFI set for me.
The speakers are actually OK, you still have features like 3D sound and other settings, which I have not maxed out.
Gaming:
As mentioned at the beginning, I often like to get in involved, therefore me a streak-free and above all fast image was also important here.
In Fifa, the colors are all genuine, to gamble on the size is really fun. Some games are also 3D compatible, which was worth considering for me again to play the one or other game by. Shooter make the way also not a problem, since low input lag by games mode.
Also have a gaming PC connected and zocke on Steam (Big Picture) some games now on a 55 inch :).
Smart TV:
The apps are OK. There is probably in the "store" some games and fitness apps that I have not tried it yet all. Some apps, however, are really well done and are used by me almost daily. With the second SmartTouch FB surfing is also fun. My Apple iMac keyboard has also been recognized without problems.
Screen Mirroring also works without problems. On the Fritz box connected devices the TV recognizes just as directly connected cameras or USB sticks. With the formats I have not tried, but the most he packs without problems.
3D:
The 3D technology, whether passive or active, for me was not really relevant.
There are 2 Active Glasses, much lighter than the initial known 3D Active Glasses. With the Shutter technology I or my eyes struggled initially.
Since my parents a 55 "LG have, as I can judge between active / passive and have to say that my Passive 3D technology from LG a ticking like better here. In addition, you have no concern whether the battery in the glasses still" juice "or not.
For me it helped completely darken the room, so I have at least not eye and headaches more when 3D films or documentaries.
Conclusion:
Ultimately, I can Recommend TV (also to act. Price here on Amazon) each has a limited budget, but still want a lot of features.
Clear models have the UE F7090 or F8090 UE the better picture, but they are priced in a completely different category.
I had my model no clouding, DSE or branding effects.
Only the dark corners can be seen when the TV Smart Hub etc. invites.
But that is neither distracting nor clearly during a movie.
Alternatively, you can possibly still the LG LA View 6608, this has passive 3D, and 4 + 2 glasses included. Has However, even a Magic Remote FB and in terms of image of Samsung was subjectively better.
