Overall, a good travel camera

For a camera of its type me their picture quality like it very much. This allows you to judge the image quality of the camera itself, I have set the first to comment on this review nor a link with unedited sample images in full resolution.

The only limitation of this camera for photo shoots is its high initial intensity of 3.7 in combination with the small sensor for me. This succeed some photos that I would like to have included at the beginning of twilight, no longer work as desired. Equally it requires both zoom shots and macro shots enough contrast in the image, in order to focus correctly. Here, the camera would have a 1 / 1.7 sensor confessed "instead of 1 / 2.3" to shame.

But this limitation is due to their compact size coupled with a high optical zoom of 30. These two things are again no mean strength of this camera. It covers a focal range of 25-750 mm. And yet it can be convenient to carry around all day with them.

I would like to highlight yet '

++ 'The vari-angle monitor, which offers a good resolution and image quality.
++ 'The flash that pops open like a small grasshopper, and bounce flash allowed (flash with your finger slightly backwards press).
++ 'The built-in internal memory provides ample space for the first trying out (about 80 pictures in 16 MP)

The camera comes with a manual (5 languages), a battery, a power supply to charge the camera and a hand strap. Then quite moderate load time I was able, thanks to the internal memory already started, and try out the camera for the first time.

+ To view recorded images, they need not be fully turned on. It is enough to press and hold the playback button. Here, the lens does not extend.
+ The Nikon is not a real lightweight. Probably it is for this very reason quite pleasant and above all safe in their hands.
+ Your well-made plastic housing makes an equally good visual impression.
+ All the controls are arranged logically and well
+ The setting interface is straightforward enough.
+ The camera also allows you to shoot when it is charged. Thus offers a small Power Bank as an additional alternative to a spare battery, which you should have for a long vacation in any case there.

Negative '

- Panoramic shots you should by single shots that were taken with the same aperture or exposure time, afterwards composed on PC.
- If no significant noise would be heard in the video footage, it would, as the camera focuses here well and quickly (to), well presentable for such a camera.

Conclusion: A camera that is well suited due to its compactness and its large zoom range for the holidays with little luggage.
