With the 1991 debut album "Rockoon" Tangerine Dream made just continued where they left off with "Melrose". However, Paul Haslinger had left the band and started a solo career. With the occupation of Edgar Froese / Jerome Froese then "Rockoon" was omen, whose songs tend strongly toward Instrumental Rock. The influence of Jerome Froese on this album was very large. It was so to say a father-son relation that the compositions concerned. Also appeared here for the first time the talented guitarist Zlatko Perica on that in titles like "Rockoon" and "Graffiti Street" proves his skills here. Overall, the album sounds very mature. The songs develop a unique atmosphere. ("Lifted Veil", "Touch Wood", "Red Roadster") a worthy successor to "Melrose".
