An interactive activity book and discoveries for 4-7 years, here on the farm theme.
On the first page, mouse clearly explains how to use the interactive pen and that symbolize the different forms at the bottom of the pages - the eye to see, to know the bulb, the bubble to tell and to play dice .
A text accompanies each double page and tells the story. The child can listen by going to say.
- Discover provides an overview of the stage and introduces the characters, place and animals.
- Know provides more detailed information on activities and places found in the image.
- Telling narrates what happens with the characters' voices, narrator and sometimes rhymes.
- Games: there are many games like recognizing sounds, guess what I see, find the hidden animals, etc.
The pros:
- The volume of the interactive pen can be adjusted and the sound quality is decent. The pen indicates when the batteries begin to decline.
- The games are highly popular among children and allow them to work listening, memory and observation.
- The explanations to use the interactive pen are very clear and the child is done by hand easily.
- The last double page includes a section in English which allows an introduction to the pronunciation of English words.
The ++:
- The pen is the same for various supplementary books or games (music, English, etc.).
The -:
- The "discovered" almost always refers to the "telling", one combined section would suffice. Example: "Paul does not return, if you want to know why, go to tell."
- Some games or some headings like "know" use words too complex for 4-5 years. It would have been interesting to sections according to age.
- The narrator's voice is a bit monotonous, and the rhymes beside the voices of the characters that is more dynamic and enjoyable.
- The child must get used to hold the pen vertically and not inclined otherwise the connection is not made. For example, the system does not recognize a right answer when the child means well claimed object. The major drawback is that the child must take.
