It smells very intense, I know fine date palms and citrus flavors, a little hongigleiches - before then the first sip the spicy flavors dominate wave breaks on the tongue. A fine smoky note, the slightly salty / peppery adjusts and then softly sliding down the throat - then peppery (some call it "Chilli-Catch" reverberate.
And thus it is a truly original whiskey - but when the final not so fast was over after the catch, there are others that reverberate even longer after. And that is the strength and the weakness of Talisker at the same time - you want more - and more - and even more of the flavor of the wild sea, the tides, and this whiskey! In short, a very good wine that we enjoy with friends like.
Hope to have helped!
