I have now slammed here (also because Amazon delivers directly) and you get the typical 4-blister where I was wondering for years whether it would not do even with cardboard)
The batteries are top. After such a short time I can, of course, no difference to the A-account generation, but I believe anyway, that this only very marginally fails. In any case, one can sure get to be here the current B-generation.
General information about the generations:
1st generation
2005 (Japan) and 2006 (EU) KAMN the 1st generation with a typical capacity of 2,000 mAh (AA) and 800 mAh (AAA). 1,000 recharges endured it and after a year the capacity was by self-discharge even at 80%. Article numbers HR 3UTG (AA) and HR 4UTG (AAA).
2nd Generation "A"
2010 was the 2nd generation. The could invite already 1,500 × and after 1 year, the remaining capacity was 85%. After 3 years, even at 75%. Here already the most popular battery on the tray) can detect the generation because the item number has been extended by an "A". So HR 3UTGA (AA) and HR 4UTGA (AAA).
3rd generation "B"
2011 (Japan) and 2012 (EU) was the 3rd generation. Load 1.800x and after 1 year 90% and after 3 years 80% remaining capacity. What more do you want. The article numbers are now HR 3UTGB (AA) and HR 4UTGB (AAA)
Incidentally, there are still the "XX" series, which provides up to 2500 mAh. This "HR 3UWXB" who after a year still has a residual capacity of 85%, that are currently on the 1st generation of the normal Eneloops. Can be but "only" invite 500x. But that applies only to the 2nd generation, currently rarely found on Amazon. The "HR 3UWX" who after a year of "only" 75% remaining capacity. So if you have the eye pays directly to the current generation with the "B"
Data on charging capacity I have taken from the American Wikipedia.
