I found the movie quite authentic. It tells the story of a young maid that comes in a very rich family to serve there. First, however, a critical view of the old housekeeper, she has lived a good and respected by all the usual cool style, only the child of a rich couple befriends slowly with her. The householder who does not buy the usual satisfaction in bed due to the very advanced twin pregnancy of his wife, then pressured the maid that withstands more insecure and fearful. The consequences are in sight and then the slightly titillating story turns into an evil intrigue drama that änfängliche familiarity turns into hatred, at the top is the intention of the reputation of the family at all costs to preserve. Very depressing the relationships of the family members work with each other, after the extent of marriage fraud is revealed. Every now and then believed, but a spark of humanity to recognize but unfortunately takes over as soon the lust for power and wealth the lead. The man's misstep is glossed over, the woman and particularly her mother want to maintain at all costs the ideal image of many children rather stick family and their place in it. (Quote mother: "Let him but every now and then his adventures, one day you can then enjoy yourself as you please, my child ... and live like a queen!" The Nestbeschmutzerin has to go, but if possible, without much attention, be it tried several ways, but the girl proves tougher than expected.
Solely the end was for my taste but then something "too much". Perhaps it should also be so; the end as a crass contrast to so controlled aesthetics of the remaining film.
Conclusion: Anyone interested in the 'old' Asian structures and the tragic drama loves is well advised. Eroticism is not really find in this film, the few scenes of bare skin are unfortunately shown little passionate and rather amateurish. And Thrill? Well, maybe arouses the end of the oppressed luck the previous 90 minutes and introduced a meaningful way by a push from the broken glass chandelier over the person sitting in the parterre noble family.
