Delivered the laser pointer in a plastic case, the print at and the usual safety instructions in English is in a cardboard box with a "Made in Taiwan". At least none of the usual annoying blister packs. The batteries were already placed, so quickly press times and ... great, a beautiful bright red spot on the wall. In 15 meters good to see even in daylight yet spread the cone to approximately 1 cm, which is as precise as the focusable LUX laser pointer.
Ugly and disturbing is attached to the laser pointer laser warning sticker. This could be with me but pull off easily and cleanly. Here but laaaangsam proceed so that the adhesive film does not tear. After removing the label, I am satisfied with the look. A bit annoying is that something rattling in the housing and rattles as if something is not screwed correctly. The rattle comes from the metal button (the LUX had a rubber button) and is gone as soon as you put your thumb on the button, so has the laser pointer in use attitude.
My area of application is approximately 120-150 days a year to show use in training sessions and presentations with a permanent beamer use and the need on the screen things.
Therefore me a robust exterior and the use of regular batteries was important. When LUX laser pointer I had a maximum of once a year to change the batteries and I hope that it is also the same. If not I will reimburse this report; o)
But are also enthusiastic about my dogs - - Keep the fun for the cat I would recommend a part with less weight. Two AAA batteries in a solid metal housing bring quite a bit on the scale and I personally would spoil the fun.
