Some facts about me regarding this review:
Previous experience in console hardware:
Playststion 3 (7 years) sold: in exchange for GAME STOP for 140 Euro to offset against the XBox One Bundle (TOP)
Playstation 4 (1 week) sells basic: volume, material quality, bad Joypad & miserable policy
XBox ONE (5 days)
Because for years I was a fan of the Playstation 3 is already in possession of a Playstation 4, I want to consult these in this review for comparison several times.

Packing:

I'd like to mention that the included accessories of really good quality. The HDMI cable is very high. Likewise, the headset. Whoever claims the supplied headset of XB1 would be cheap, should look to compare the headset the PS4 which rather comes as a cheaper earplugs. Even with the enclosed batteries (Duracell) has spared no expense and used a proprietary product. The additional price of 100 Euro for PS4 are more than justified. What bothered me only, but is the considerable size of XB1 console itself. With a width of about 30cm a place for it to be found here for now.

Furnishings:
It is the XB1 out after connecting with an installation menu's through the setup process. Had the required software update size of about 500MB and walked in 5 minutes on the stage. My XB1 is connected via HDMI cable directly to the TV which Dolby Digital capable. This in turn is connected via HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) with my sound system. Television programs could be repeatedly given me in 5.1 of the investment so via HDMI. After the connection XB1 I realized that this was spending only Stero. Kinect:
Unfortunately, I have not yet sufficiently explained to me thus. As far as I can judge so far does the voice control after carrying out calibration function very well. The voice & picture quality in Skype were perceived by my interlocutor well. The gesture control, however, is so far little getting used to. It has the impression that the real hand is always one meter next to the displayed handwriting on the screen. In addition, too hectic movements will not be detected. Since I will not use the gesture control but this does not matter for me. Pure KINECT Games so far I could not even try.

Operating System & Software XB1:
I think that's more a matter of taste. Compared to the Playstation four should be mentioned here that the XB1 much value placed on Multimedia. Skype and Co are present, and who already have Windows 8 calls his own, will find here because the tiles immediately familiar. I must admit as former PS3 & 4 user I initially did something difficult. After an hour, I would like it but no longer miss. Only the Skype integration (even in games / team chat) and the multitasking ability (between Apps switches back and forth) are well done.

Gaming experience:
I was as already mentioned, years of users of the systems and their PS joypad. To my surprise, I had been to a few minutes festellen that the XB1 Controller Joypad is the best at what I had so far in his hand. The control of the analog sticks I find very päzise. It felt in the game so seriously, as if my skill would be higher. But this impression is more subjective nature are thus not wertbar. In my opinion, it is an advantage that the batteries are the joypad austaschbar. Should there even happen that they are empty, they can be exchanged within a short time to a few full and keep playing. Compared with a PS4 with permanently installed batteries are required theoretically always 2 joypad suburb or one waits until one is recharged.
*** Update 03/25/14: With regard to the durability of the enclosed batteries (Duracell): It is not absolutely necessary, otherwise directly to buy a battery pack or that spare batteries. I play according to statistics already 14h titanium case. Battery charging state akutell more than 60%. I therefore set a minimum operating time of about 20 hours. From my experience, which is about 3 times longer than the PS4 controller (respectively I do not rule out that my PS4 controller was a Monday model. Because compared to the PS3 the battery was empty much faster).
*** Update 04/29/2014: The enclosed batteries have given up the ghost while ago. Titanium case showed a total playing time of 21 hours. Of course between rounds 2-3 minute break where the controler is inactive in hand. Nevertheless, a good value when you consider that the rumble feature of Joypad is very strong and almost permanently active.

Titanium case (personal taste & feeling):
I am already 38 years. After years of playing the Battlefield series, I would not have thought that a game title in my age can captivate me so much yet. Sure ... the gameplay is kept simple and the graphics engine is not the newest ... But let's be honest: In the game, the process is so fast that you do not even have the time to admire the gaming environment more accurately (the nicely for the rest is). From Framerraten dips so far no trace. The internal resolution of 792p which is ultimately hochscaliert of the XB1 to 1080p I do not feel as a disadvantage. But that's also because I have a sufficient distance from the TV and thus not counted edges and pixels. Add to this subject, I want my life companion, which already kept me in Battlefield 4 on the PS4 company said, without which I had to wonder, that the image much clearer and was better. Since it is less concerned with such topics busy when I, I think this vote positively.
In the game itself come in addition to the 12 online players, even computer controlled opponents before. At first I thought, "Oh great, stupid bots / AI's on the battlefield." Nevertheless, you can enjoy one anyway if these shoots or tactically to get involved (there is the possibility bots via unlocked ability to hack). So even less good players have a sense of achievement which keeps the motivation high.

Finally, I would like to add compelling that even after several hours of online games, it has not led to a Disconnection. For a new game, I find the mitlerweile very successful compared to Battlefield 4 and Co.
Minor points I have, however, if the game itself is very fast, it takes to broadcast "felt" forever until the next round starts. Real 2-3 minutes, Feels like 5 minutes. This time, however, can be put to good use with the modification of the titanium or equipment. In addition, I'm missing to create multiplayer rounds have the option Private. According to my information, this function will be submitted with future DLC's.
*** Update 03/25/2014:
-From And easy Framerraten intrusions at very explosive battles were now seen with a lot of Titans. However, since these were very short of time, I was the less disturbed.
-Schade Also that if you play multiplayer with friends, they are not on the minimap or otherwise specially marked. Apart from chatting, no tactical advantages can be created here, unfortunately.
*** Update 04/29/2014:
It has been added in the meantime the possibility of private matches. Currently still in beta status. Now Man thus has the possibility of Clan team matches or training to perform.
Nevertheless, the game is unfortunately a bit monotonous and the DLC is slow in coming. If respawn only nachschiebt a few new cards with the DLC, the game is in the living room can not hold out much longer with me.

Conclusion:
You know certainly the current advertising a car manufacturer:
18% of Germans do not like olives.
60% have never tried one.
I have eaten 30 years no olives and and was fixated on Sony's Playstation for years.
Today I ask myself the serious question why? Therefore, I am glad to have seen sometimes a piece far to the left and right of the road.
