In contrast to the slightly cheaper (but baugleichem) Telekom hotspot all 3G frequency bands are the E5776 unlocked, which could be important for Asia / Australia travelers, among others. The battery life of up to 10 hours are satisfactory, considering the small size of this black box. This is about the size of a cigarette box. On the part of the administration, there are many settings (Firewall, MAC Filter, Wireless frequencies and channels, etc.).
The antenna has a good sensitivity, so you can often do without an externally connected antenna. I have tested the MIFI with Vodafone LTE Datensimkarte (up to 21.6 Mbit / s). In Berlin on 4G and 800MHz (full reception indoors) were 21.5 Mbit / s downstream and 5.5 Mbit / s upstream possible. The expansive natural park of the Mecklenburg Lake District was nevertheless still 3G reception with about 3-4 Mbit / s Down / Up in there. Ultimately, the bandwidth of course depends on many factors.
Negatives:
The display does not always display correctly if a client is connected. Showed me the screen once "0", even though I went with a smartphone via the hotspot in the net. The volume of data was nevertheless counted correctly. The error occurred with other users. Possibly this will be fixed with a firmware update.
The delivery is next to the MIFI only an English-language Quick Start Guide and a USB cable. On the Internet there is also a multilingual PDF (also in German). The (barely available) Original charger used 2A charge current.
The pulsating lights of the Power button does not turn off. The pressure on the WPS button reveals the WLAN key, even if it has been changed and will remain inaccessible to foreigners. One should hotspot so do not let unattended, or set your Mac filter at least.
