I've been 3 days continuously so as iOS 3:21 was employed to find a solution in order to use the camera kit from Apple so, talk to the full 100mA. Thus the kit in conjunction with the jailbreak and iFile supports all USB sticks up to 32GB. Unfortunately, this has been set by Apple to 20mA down since version iOs 4:21. As a result, the very few USB sticks (size irrelevant) function. Unfortunately, I find failed a unified solution, but 2 of my 10 USB sticks functioned like my Kingsten DataTraveler Gerneration 2 (8GB). There is no consistent pattern of power consumption of the drives to detect, because I have this stick (Kingston) even twice, but still only a funzt. I think the best and most space-saving solution is combined with the SD card kit, which was also included. This reads so far all of my cards (4GB-32GB) without any problems, since these cards hardly need electricity. It is thus clear that Apple will initially allow any increase in the power supply to the Connection Kit, as far as I know for power saving reasons to save battery power. By now, most notebooks and PCs have anyway an SD card reader, so that should be easy for everyone. Music, pictures, office files, and so have been recognized and unshown without problems. Even video's of 5MB - 1.6GB The player will play without problems as long as it is an Apple format (MP4). Everything else takes too long to load (at least 5 minutes for files> 300MB). Even then, the format is perhaps even unreadable. If you have questions you contact me.
