The Sword of Truth, Book 8: The Empire conquered (Paperback)

Customer Review

Fan of the series, the 7th volume had disappointed me, but I kept hoping. My expectations were also disappointed by the 8th installment.

The beginning is slow, very slow, too slow. We exceeded diesel Cape to return to the good old steam engines. Where the narrative genius of Robin Hobb manages to hook the reader, the syle of Terry Goodkind's boring and dull.

During the first third, the only part of the story is that Richard has migraine .....
The dominant impression is slow, naivety and boredom. Many blalba that does not advance the story.
In short, with half of that balbla less, the plot would have been revived, most sustained and most captivating rhythm. The happy player.

Fortunately there was Zedd that illuminates this gloom.

I'm not looking to go down the book, but I'm more bitter when I love something and does not do it honor.

In short, I hope the next book will be the first of height.
