For some time, I came to doubt the value of Rhino logo on the back of most of these reissues (see box Linda RONSTADT who republishes in their poor condition, the first CD of the 90 overs). With J. GEILS BAND, we discover deferrals cleaned with a significantly improved relief and a much better output level. You can throw all the CD 90s (they continue to be available and should be avoided acquire).
As regards content, must be brief and clear: it is one of the best rock'n'roll-blues bands in history (with FLAMIN 'GROOVIES). That is, since the 70s, a reference group of all lovers. I now expect that Rhino offers us a canon remastering of the second live album (even more devastating than the fabulous "Full House" contained in the kit): "Blow Your Face Out". The edition is currently available is old and does not realize what a recovery when the Motown J.GEILS BAND gets involved ("Where did Our Love Go?" The SUPREME). When all these remastering will be carried out, we can leave this world in peace. For now, the first five records we already have a group of fire and deadweight (the price) is not the least of the arguments.
Note that the remastering of the fifth album, "Ladies Invited" (worst by far), is not as obvious as in the first four (by far the best).
