I have therefore this Garmin-clock according to the criteria: suitable frills and for the amateur runners, not overloaded with features, and selected "new model". Good reviews has this clock also, not only here at Amazon. Heart rate measurement, which is absent in this cheap device that I do not need that would make me nervous.
After a short adjustment period, I'm thrilled. The clock has nice large buttons, the necessary adjustments are made quickly, and with me the GPS signal (in the city) is quite fast at the clock.
What particularly excites me are the analysis options when connecting the clock on the computer with the Garmin Web site. In addition to the data shown already during the run on the clock time, distance, and with switching minutes per kilometer (not km / h) and calories burned (I suppose, however, since a non-individualized average is specified which does not include, for example, if you uphill or downhill running), a huge range is on offer at evaluations, including a particularly intriguing representation of the real running track on a map or satellite, split times, maximum speed, altitude, the weather during the run and more. And if you want, you can share this data with other natural runners.
Of the additional features described here as well I currently need only the "Auto Pause", ie the measurement is switched off when you stop (or the time continues, but it will later also the real maturity saved), for example because you stop at traffic lights needs. Practically a beep after each kilometer run by specifying the "Pace" (you can also individually set).
What stands out psychologically, but that no longer belongs strictly speaking now to review ;-), is that you somehow "driven" by the clock feels, that is, at least at the beginning of running maybe faster than you did before. On the one hand you can explore so its performance limits better, on the other hand, one could assume something or the speed that actually does good to the body exceed. But as I said, which was to import.
Clear recommendation!
Edit: After two and a half months, I must now pull off a star. As described by many other, locating the GPS signal of work only after a few minutes, lately it even went off and did not. And, although I usually run the same route, as there should be by any "reminder"? In the cold season, which is particularly unpleasant.
Nevertheless still a good product.
