This method was recommended to me when my daughter was completely confused and lost after one month by the "magnificent" global-phonetic method to assumptions applied by a deaf teacher at the plight of children (and parents!) to such education. In 4 months and through Delile, my daughter was able to read, while most of her little classmates confuse reading and guessing! The Delile method corresponds more to what was recommended to me by a speech therapist: first we learn to vowels and long consonants (m, n, f, v ...) and finally short consonants. The digraphs (or, one, oi ....) are included between learning 2 short consonants, eliminating the book to the end and confuse the child. The child also acquires vocabulary (when you can decipher the words, inevitably, you learn new ones), while in class, my daughter rehashed the same corpus of words until lécœurement. Delile saved my child of an insured failure if I had confidence in a bounded teacher some teaching ideology ... I prescribe to all those around me who question the CP of their offspring: we must do a little every day, and add to it by reading specifications for application exercises.
