Fabolous is back and how. He has linked us in the autumn of 2002, because there already was a blueprint version of his new album '"Street Dreams" published only 9 tracks contained. But I already had the right nose and knew that this version was a blueprint, because except for the hit single "Trade It All Part2" which is really awesome were on the Blueprint only songs on it already on the Desert Storm Mixtape Fab were heard. And now in 2003 comes in Germany the correct version on the market (19 tracks), who came in late 2002 in the US and I'm excited about this. Although achieved "Street Dreams" is not nearly the Niveu of Fab's debut album "Ghetto Fabolous," but that is not on the ability of Fab but the music style. "Ghetto Fabolous" was a true rap album which was very varied with something faster beats but also a bit in the R & B direction went with "Trade it all Part1". "Street Dreams" on the other hand has no more to do with rap alzuviel, but goes even more in the R & B, Pop Rap direction. You can see that already in the guests as P.Diddy, Jagged Edge, Missy Elliot, Ashanti, Lil Mo, Mary J Blige, Snoop Dogg and some unknown people. Only one song still reminds of "Ghetto Fabolous" namely the hit single "Keepin it gangsta" was once again packed on "Street Dreams" in an ingenious remix with Styles, Jadakiss and MOP with it. Genuine good also suitable for party songs are "Trade It All Part2", "af *** not Give" Damn, "Can not Let You Go" and "Sickalicious". Actually, all tracks are very well done, especially the track "Into You" with Ashanti is still very good and a little reminiscent of Nelly's song "Dilemma". In the whole, a good album. Who Fabs debut album will be liked by "Street Dreams" a little disappointed, but who fancy something R & B and Party Tracks should have here for immediate access. And who, as I can not wait until Germany release, the part can get as an import from the states already, because the CD is already quite popular (currently 8th place in the album charts in the US).
