Unwrapped: great package, beautiful box, nice goodies. First listen: The album is not comparable with the previous albums. The songs are pleasing, the lyrics very nice filed (eg, black, gray, white, damned silence) and the experimental area (eg by failure) is quite surprising in a positive way.
For Broilers freshmen album is certainly a good buy, clear voice, crowded into the background instruments, no consistent theme. At times reminiscent of the sound almost to the best band in the world (for example, in a few years).
In Broilers fans the album will meet with little response. Sammy's voice is clear, too clean, the instruments must be cultivated. That may be an evolution from a theoretical perspective, but thus lost the characteristic sound, rebellion and aggression are no longer perceptible, the work is no longer authentic.
CONCLUSION: 'The Spirit of 69' has been lost - please rattles from the lost property offices over the next album.
