Customer Review

This is of course not as deep or tortured as "The Elementary Particles", not as desperately optimistic "The Possibility of an Island", but it devours speed and with a certain pleasure. "Days" is a gem of three pages that alone justifies the purchase of the book. We may not like the character Houellebecq, reject his ideas sometimes "scandalous" hate media marketing that surrounds it (is it only the instigator?), But one can not deny its truth or analytical talent writer. It is certainly difficult to admit that life has become today as "The Day" ["be alone until the end, in a state of trouble progressing to despair, with the mistaken impression that other s' fun. " ; "Actually, all you need is expected to be some fun to piss off."], Yet it is the only option we have left if we want one day our society abandon its cult Testosterone in favor of that of the Heart. As for the vulgarity (relative) of the author, one discerns benefit a form of laziness a real taste for the vulgar: it is often easier to call someone a fool, than to explain politely the reason for his intellectual failure.
