I will therefore not lose myself in my review of Photoshop Elements 10 in detail, but merely emphasize a plus and a minus:

For some time I am in charge of designing a book club. Since my usual word processing programs like MS Word is not layout the necessary security brought (pasted images lopsided, heels were uncontrolled umgebochen etc), I tried it with Photoshop Elements. This has as a classic image editing, however the lack to dominate not justified - even the professional Photoshop can's far! As I helped me where I downloaded a Testverion Photoshop, produced a text box with it and it saved the Pictures as justified text. Then I put out the trial version and opened the justification in Photoshop Elements.
This little trick went smoothly because Photoshop Elements is not only a more or less "compatible" replacement for the big brother Photoshop; Photoshop Elements is Photoshop, albeit with a limited feature set. So it does not behave like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Works word processor where the latter the parent product hardly understood and their products could be adopted only more bad than good. No, Photoshop Elements files are absolutely Photoshop files and no vile imitation! This identity makes for me the actual value of the "elements" of that cost only about a tenth of what you have to shell out for the big brother. And so I can make my notebook since problems in Photoshop Elements, or even align a portion of the text field differently, eg. B. Formatting an inserted poetry left justified, without the type area would be destroyed as such.
But now even the -
Unfortunately, combined Adobe editing the class per se picture some time ago with an image management program, which had previously been sold separately. This "Organizer" is essentially a powerful image database, with which one can enrich his collection of photos with all sorts of useful or less useful information. Since the "organizer" as well as the available locations and manages not only the hard drive, but any external media arbitrarily searched for image files, he gets annoying fast and pollutes the computing resources tremendously.
His nutrition is modest because it overwhelmed the layman because of its complexity, while the Qualified by ingenious folder structure and file name, possibly supplemented by a solution tailored to personal needs database, much better moves.
The "Organizer" is automatically written in the rest of the plate, so it can not "custom" installation can be omitted as part of a. Annoying!
