Granted, there are less expensive bells and there are also buyers who buy a lens for that amount. I can not evaluate the quality of the bells still offered because I do not know. This clip is certainly very robust, the felt ring protects the lens surface from scratches and the excellent color matches the color of the original lens. So my buy recommendation applies this tripod socket.
