I chose this machine for the following reasons:
- Infinitely variable speed from 200-2500
- Lighted clamping table
- Very low speed adjustable, especially when countersinking and reaming or drilling large diameters in wood
- Keyless
- Tolerable Bohrspindelrundlauf of 0.32 mm in 75 mm distance from the spindle
- Very good adjustable depth stop with repeatable good results
- Display of drilling depth in mm in the display
- Speed can be switched quickly without changing belts
At negative points I notice:
- Laser Cross does not show the actual position of the drill tip at
- Emergency stop not optimal in (marking emergency stop, and yellow / red color)
- Carriage of the machine slides up and down badly lubricated
If one wants to achieve with the machine spindle play despite good results, it is important to observe a few basic rules of drilling.
- Borehole poss. Mark Precise
- With grains thus center punching drill may not run
- With pre-drill thus predrill the Boher does not run. Best use a NC spotting drills carbide (about cross cutting diameter of the drill) Tip
- Right speed for the material to be drilled choose (Table is located on the side of the machine)
Adjust manually feeding the drill diameter and the cutting performance -
If these rules are not followed, it is my opinion after not possible precisely to drill at a very high-quality machine.
I recommend this machine so happy to, but rate to come to terms with the advance technology of drilling since such bench drills for absolute beginners are not suitable.
