I'm really not as Modetrendfan and 85er vintage already not from a youth product. So far I have distanced myself from stehts Beats articles. But now I must confess that to me the headphones here in focus sound / comfort / practicality liked most.
Sound:
Surprisingly good. I once had an old Beats Studio model (battery operated) tested by a buddy and was super disappointed. The model here Dr. Dre seems but to have done everything right. The sound is super balanced. I very often hear different musical styles (Rap / Alternative Rock / Pop), and it sounds neither dull nor unnatural like its predecessor.
The bass is strong but unobtrusive, even at high volumes. The space in Div. Songs are surprisingly good, especially if you want something experimented by Equalizer. It is a lot of detail even at high volumes clearly true. Perfect it is not very satisfactory in the overall package. For me it was finally a headset at high volume without noise. I hear exclusively on Spotify ~ 320 kbps.
When SMS Audio of clean bass dominated even more than the Beats Wireless, the highs are lost something. For bass lovers, the first choice.
The Bose and the AKG sound similar to each other. Very balanced, maximum volume although considerably lower, but generally clear / clean but not decisive for me. For people with a penchant for orchestral music and complex eletronischer but probably the better choice.
The only thing that might be a little disappointed the Noice Cancelling or Active Noice Control. No comparing two Bose system!
Could have be omitted! Taste only unnecessary battery.
Bluetooth:
Device always connects very quickly automatically after initial coupling. There is a short sound feedback when the KH turned on and off. When iPhone / iOS device the battery level is displayed above.
The volume is synchronized on KH and iPhone.
It can be pre-set un back, not as the previous wireless 2-button but by multiple pressing the left ear button. But not so tragic.
I miss nothing, I can configure everything without problems with one hand.
Here the AKG K845 BT has unfortunately failed, at least for iOS devices. No front-back, no indication of the battery. No feedback whether it is connected or not. Bose Audio and SMS are on par with the beats. The SMS Audio has even one button each for front and back.
Wear long-term:
Here the Bose AE2W and AKG is absolutely front because it is the ear Umschließst and easily. In the last position of SMS Audio is because it lies very firmly on the ears. The Beats also located on the ears, but here the cushions are very pleasant, after 3 hours had pain problems.
I had all 4 models for detailed testing and I have a heavy heart for this expensive model chosen, since it is admittedly too expensive. Fortunately, I got it used elsewhere get cheaper as new.
