good historical story

Good historical narrative but beware it is not a novel with a hero who happens adventures in 1000! Here the hero is Napoleon and adventures are his life. The story is well documented, accurate ... and includes tables, comparative (number of army corps ...), maps ... It is nice to read and not at all boring as one might have feared. In short good historical narrative for those who enjoy this type of book but not necessarily recommended for those who love novels ...
