Positives:
- Operation is simple
- It is soon high, even faster when it snaps shut in between only
- Long running times (better than the annoying tray)
- No apps that constantly update itself in the background and consuming data volume, even if the device just lying around
- To surf real keys, mail, work
- Even when switching to another Chromebook, you get your profile including all apps (Browser Enhancements) again completely manufactured. Simply re-create a profile with his data
Neutral
- Browser-based OS. Is ok for me because everything works great. Make the browser extensions, what they should and are not so memory intensive as tablet apps. Most of what I do with the Chromebook or a tray is to surf the Internet
- Conditional Offline capability: Even my Android tablet is pretty boring without a data connection. Thus, I have EH my WLAN stick permanently there. Calendar, Gmail and documents are also offline suitable when everything settles properly
- No max cathedrals video stream. However Myvideo operate and now also Amazon Prime Video
Negative
- Frequently Verbindungsabrüche with slow wireless connection: While my old netbook slowly builds pages, the Chromebook breaks off frequently and brings error messages. I had streamed films over my Firebox via wifi and then could barely surf. Seems however be due to my wireless router, because only me I have this problem at home. Possibly be the Chromebook not tolerate but with Netgear routers. Other WLAN networks, I do not have that problem. But I generally stick to the statement that I, more problems than with my old netbook have the same Wlangeschwindigkeit.
- A fixed battery - as long as everything works, everything is ok. A defective battery draws a paid service instead of a low battery exchange by itself. Probably the leading but now even to the same to buy a new device. Bes ******* environmental and cost balance. Did I in my Tab2 hated, especially since Samsung is not necessarily known for durable batteries
Conclusion:
I am pleasantly surprised by the device and take it with very often. Quick look something on the Internet? No problem. Games? Well, but do eh eh hardly. Even if I times longer use time machine for surfing, it lasts longer than my Tab2. And write emails or this review, go as usual on the PC and not as annoying as on a tray at rumtippen on glass on the couch. In any case I give the Chromebook no longer ago. However, I must admit that I might have still been looking at prices around 250-300.- me at other Chromebooks. To my purchase price, it was definitely an unbeatable offer, in which I would not hesitate to strike again.
