The Burning Red (CD)

Customer Review

Machine Head had announced that "Burning Red" as his "Reign In Blood". This third album is even more disappointing is that on the one hand, by far the worse and secondly, the least heavy. The first album "Burn My Eyes", released in 1994, was a killer. Machine Head had failed to materialize with "The more things change" in 1997, less inspired.
With "The Burning Red", not only the group does not perform its benchmark album but dark Machine Head in a kind of neo metal / hardcore tinged rap song (yes, really!). We do not dwell not on the resumption of Police (!). Machine Head Suicide short (artistic, at least), the result is unbearable. What a mess so promising for this group yet had with "Burn My Eyes", directed one of the best records in the history of metal.
