The Olympus 10x50 and the Olympus 7x35 was too heavy for me, although it shows a larger field of view than the Pentax.
Alternatively, I still have the Oympus l8-16x40 zoom, Nikon 8-24x25 Zoom binoculars and the Praktica Zoom 7-21x25 ordered.
I wanted to try a push.
The Olympus because I wanted to see if it is better in picture quality is essential as the Pentax. If this had been so, I would have considered myself strong again.
When the Nikon survey was clear that it was not in the least to the rankommt Pentax.
It acts hakelig and cheap processed, although there is a lot more expensive. From the picture quality I was not satisfied. The Praktica seems indeed processed better, but my eyes were so not at all clear. In truest sense of the word. I have my eyes somehow compel. It did not help. I could exert myself as I wanted to, I do not got to go to the series a decent picture.
So everything back that remains Pentax !!!
Because it is
+ Handy small and light
+ At Standard to about 12-14 times zoom, a super image
+ Processed prima
+ Easy to handle
+ Not a cheap pocket
+ Tripod mount, who needs it
+30 !!! Year warranty
+ The strap is removed in 5 sec, if it interferes in your pocket
The only criticism
-at 14 -16fach zoom the picture slightly darker, but I can get over.
The Olympus can score with a larger field of view, but is always there for a FG simply too complicated for me (hard).
The Olympus Zoom was indeed in the image larger, but not serious in the better picture quality than the Pentax.
The Pentax is for the amateur observer / walkers / cyclists the optimal FG.
Small, handy and great image quality.
The jack of all trades !!
