If that's your approach, forget it!
This thing takes to assemble, and it is hakelig. And that ensures that it may not be used regularly.
After a rain, the film is full of water. If you pick up the film then, the water runs over the cloth, and the foam edge .... everything is then only times really wet. I did not manage that so to remove that water would not have found its way. The contra argument par excellence.
Following instructions should reduce the safety net for mounting ... Of course I not done ... but then ... see point 1 above.
Conclusion: Certainly the tarp will be effective protection of the cloth and the blue foam ring against UV radiation and yes you read again and again that these rings get relatively quickly "disintegration". But the film is in daily operation only of dubious benefit. I would not buy me ... is now around!
