I was looking for a way to significantly improve the sound of the small LCD TV in our room. I connected the 2.1 system to the TV's headphone jack which allows you to adjust the volume from the remote control. The two speakers are placed on each side of the TV and the box behind (in the bedroom closet door open to watch TV ... so perfect).
The sound is very good, even at low volume (distinct and comprehensive voice), which was the key for us.
The sleep of the whole is automatically a few minutes after turning off the TV, so no excessive consumption and no need to get up and put (important when one falls asleep in front!).
I do not know if it will be suitable for "gamers", but to replace his "crappy" of most of TV today is nickel!
