The installation was so far a bit difficult because the motion unfortunately these "superstructure", the leads at present at the wall sockets that you can not screw it (or has difficulties). Is that, however, made the further fine adjustments on the small switch (which can be seen also in the picture too) easy to do.
The first knob controls the "sensitivity" of the sensor. Here is to be possible a range of 1-6m. We can on our corridor not really check, but with the length of the sensor's sensitivity is automatically increased, too. So the light is activated in our case even at opening the door a few centimeters and registers even the smallest movements.
The second knob controls the duration of the illumination (from a few seconds up to several minutes is there for all needs to find a solution). However, we must not here Minute setting expected since it is a small knob, but basically if rather short or very long you can already adjust well. We have run only a short one, since the elimination is also only activated from the last registered movement. So, if you have set only about 20 seconds, then the light goes about 20 seconds after the last registered movement again.
The 3rd knob dims the intensity of the lamp. Since we on the one hand want to illuminate as well as possible, but it is only used on the other hand, if someone wakes up from sleep, we decided here for mediocrity.
We would be the motion without restriction for lamp sockets, the recommended freely accessible from all sides. Because of its own weight, it may then, however, come with hanging lamps in a "lopsided"! In sconces should look to that version but has a little play so the lamp socket can be bent away from the wall a little screwed to the sensor. On the product picture you can see quite well how much play is needed.
The only problem I had was the fact that now and slipped on the light bulb in the socket and therefore not activated was (which is probably due to my cheap but bulb!). The sensor itself works really well and if the bulb is securely seated in the socket, then there is nothing to complain on. The promised reaction through glass doors and thin walls I can not confirm (in our case is not desirable because otherwise the lamp would trigger any movement in the bed and room). In any case, there are similar conditions as ours a buy recommendation on our part. Who hopes to move through doors etc. to recognize the will probably not be happy with this product.
